This Privacy Policy describes how Lesserspace ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects the information you provide when you use the Lesserspace application and website, sign in to your account, or communicate with us, including by text message.

Information we collect

We may collect information you give us directly, such as your name, email address, phone number, and any details you include when you contact us or sign up to receive messages. When you choose to sign in with Google, we receive basic profile information from your Google Account, such as your name, email address, and profile picture. We may also collect limited technical information automatically, such as your IP address and basic usage data.

How we use your information

• To send you text messages you have opted in to receive, such as appointment reminders and replies to your inquiries.

Signing in with Google

We offer the option to sign in using your Google Account. When you do, Google shares basic profile information with us (your name, email address, and profile picture) solely to create and authenticate your account. We use this information only to provide and secure the Lesserspace service. We do not access your Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, contacts, or any other Google data, and we do not use Google sign-in information for advertising. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can revoke our access at any time through your Google Account settings at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.

SMS messaging and your mobile information

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Buying from an artist on Lesserspace

Lesserspace operates the online galleries and shops of independent artists and is the seller of record for the prints, books and original works sold there. When you buy, we collect what the order needs: your name, email address and shipping address, and a phone number if you give one.

Payment is handled by Stripe on its secure checkout. Your card details go to Stripe and never reach our servers; Stripe's handling of them is described in its own privacy policy. Stripe uses your address to calculate sales tax where it applies.

To make and deliver your order we share your name, your shipping address and the artwork file with the print and bindery partners who produce the piece, and they pass your name and address to the carrier that delivers it. The artist whose work you bought is told what sold and the city it is going to; for an original work, which the artist packs and ships personally, the artist receives your shipping address.

Order confirmations, shipping notices and replies to your support messages are sent by email from Lesserspace. We keep order records for as long as tax and accounting law requires. We do not sell this information, and we do not use it for anything other than the order and the support around it.

The galleries use Google Analytics to count visits. The artist whose gallery you visit may connect their own Google Analytics property to it, in which case Google's measurement of your visit is shared with that artist as well.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with trusted service providers who help us operate our business, and only to the extent needed to perform those services. We may also disclose information when required by law.

Data retention and security

We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes described here, and we use reasonable safeguards to protect it. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at the email below. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. You can revoke Google sign-in access at any time through your Google Account settings.

Children's privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
